1. I began from zero understanding of Japanese, and now I can pick up conversations while watching Japanese movies and read food labels written in Japanese while shopping. It makes me very happy to be able to do this!

"I was introduced to Granlibro by a colleague at work. We both just got hired as a Japanese bilingual but I was still not confident with my Japanese language skills.
At that time, I was already taking Japanese language classes at a different language school and using different kinds of Japanese language learning apps.
What I like about Granlibro is that our lessons are not limited to the money I pay for every hour. I can connect with my teacher anytime, even outside lesson hours, and he discusses it in detail. If I couldn’t understand, my teacher will patiently discuss further until I get the point.
I passed my N3 as my first JLPT certification and am now working on getting my N2 certification. I’m also able to step up at work because I’m more confident with my Japanese skills.

"I happened to find Granlibro through Twitter, and decided to take a trial lesson, since just studying Japanese on my own wasn’t working very well.
Little did I know that the advice and teachings provided by native speakers would not only help me go from basic JLPT N4/N5 level to JLPT N2 level, but also that I would have enough courage to move to Japan and spend some time there.
Now I am back in the UK, I still take regular lessons so I can take the JLPT N1 exam. Since I work irregular shifts, my tutor being very flexible works amazingly for me.
Also, having a Japanese native speaker to ask specific question to about nuance and deeper word and phrase meanings is a great way to make communication more fluent. "
